Action Alert: Secondary Dwellings at Council Monday

What: Public Hearing Regarding SB 1051/SDU compliance in Eugene
When: April 16th, 7:30 (arrive early to sign up to comment)
Where: Harris Hall, 125 E 8th Ave, Eugene

On Monday, City Council needs to hear from you about how you think we should move forward with Secondary Dwelling Units in Eugene.

Do we follow the new state law that says every single-family homeowner who wants to create an small additional home on their property should be able to?

Do you want to build a backyard cottage?  Do you want to live in an accessory apartment?  Do you want to see Eugene respond with action instead of talk to our housing crisis? Let Council know.  Be heard at the public hearing on April 16th.

Information about what to expect if you comment can be found on the WE CAN website; if you aren't able to speak, attending and showing your support helps also!

(Not able to make it?  Send a comment to mayorcouncilandcitymanager@ci.eugene.or.us, and watch the hearing on the web.

After the public hearing on April 16th at 7:30 at Harris Hall, Council will be holding a work session with potential action in mid-May.
