On Monday, a Register Guard article outlined Mayor Piercy's proposal to "convening a meeting that anyone can attend with an aim of agreeing on a path forward for a new land use planning effort" Also on Monday, Councilors Brown and Clark presented a suggestion to move forward using a planning team made up of residents and business/property owners in the neighborhood and adjacent neighborhoods, nominated by neighborhood associations. City staff and Council are looking carefully at these proposals, and will be interested in hearing thoughts.
