Discussing our Differences to Meet our Goals

Rezoning requires community input

With the Mayor's Forum on South Willamette approaching, it is a good time to be thinking about how we can sort through different perspectives and needs to achieve common goals around affordability, choice, and reducing our environmental impact.  This Letter to the Editor highlights some of the different perspectives, and encourages thoughtful discussion.

Building new structures to increase density on unused land — your lot or back yard, for example — may sound like a good move, but is it the right step? What should we learn from others?
